Folio hcl. album w. 6 double-p. wallpaper samples by Nieuwenhuis, ca. 1894. (1) Branches, berries and butterflies. (2) Umbellifers, butterflies and dragonflies. (3) Flowers, butterflies and dragonflies. Each in 2 col. variants. Pasted letters W.C. on the front cover of the album (possibly E.J. van Wisselingh & Co art trade; they owned a workshop during the turn of the 19th century in which G.W. Dijsselhof, C.A. Lion Cachet and Nieuwenhuis all worked as interior designers for Amsterdam aristocrats). Album 60 x 42 cm, all samples 79.5 x 60 cm.
Album sl. worn, but contents in very good condition.
