Volume 1 with (tax?) stamps dated 18 Dec. 1822 at beginning and end; spines covered. Both volumes with signature and volume 1 also with purchase date by Michiel Buisman on the flyleaf. Ullrich IV, 115 b (author: John Eagles). The first German edition of a famous English Robinsonade: "The Journal of Llewellin Penrose, a seaman", 1815. Good copy of this very rare edition; (2) Robinson Crusoe's des Aeltern wunderbare Schicksale auf seinen Reise zu Wasser und zu Lande (...). Mit Kupfern. Neue Auflage. Nürberg, F. Campe, 1826, VIII,440 p., with 6 engraved plates, contemporary marbled cardboard with morocco letterpiece (binding slightly worn; with signature and purchase date Michiel Buisman). And with 3 more.
