Blindstamped calf binding, ca. 1900, frontcover with blindstamped decoration of flowers, richly gilt inside dentelles and watered silk endpapers, gilt edges of covers, ribbed, giltlettered spine, t.e.g., 20.5 x 16 cm.

Spine sl. faded, leather a few scratches. A fine example of an Art Nouveau/ Jugendstil bookbinding, signed w. ticket on first free endpaper. On: La Sainte Messe. N.pl., n.publ., n.d. (Paris, Bouasse, Lebel et Massin, ca. 1890), 72 p., entirely lithographed with richly handcol. and gilt initials, borders and other bookdecoration, 2 plates w. miniatures.
