[Ornaments] Theodor de Bry (1528-98). Three engravings: (1) "Manus manum lavat"

Engr., 6.5 x 14.8 cm, of an oval medallion w. a man and a woman washing each other's hands, an allegory of marriage, copied after Johann Sadeler (I), after a drawing by Frederik Sustris, w. rich ornamental panels at the left and right, monogrammed "T.B.F.E." in the plate. Left and right blank margins w. some thin spots/ tiny holes. A very fine impression on thin, contemp. paper. -and 2 other sm. prints by the same, 1 re-margined and 1 mounted and w. blindst. collector's mark of Johan Parry on mount.
