The Argentinian business man, critic, curator, and artist, Jorge Glusberg, founded the interdisciplinary experimental art center CAyC in Buenos Aires in 1968. In the 1970s it became one of the most prominent promoters of video art, mounting exhibitions in Eastern and Western Europe and Latin America, such as the series 'International Open Encounters on Video'.
