New York, Mass Art Inc., 1966. Vinyl 33rpm LP, 31.5 x 31.5 cm. With b/w silkscreened cover displaying a photo from Allan Kaprow’s happening Household (1964) made by Sol Goldberg. The album features a spoken word recording of Allan Kaprow describing in great detail how to create a happening.

Rare original release, signed 'Allan Kaprow '95' on the cover. This is the first pressing from 1966 by Mass Art Inc., which went bankrupt right after the release. In 1968 the record was re-released and distributed via Something Else Press, with a cover by Alison Knowles. Cover shows rubbing around edges, corner bumps and 10 cm tear along top right edge, light soiling on rear. Paper sleeve with toning and wear.
