Dulieu, Jean (1921-2006). Paulus and Eucalypta
Two original puppets for the Paulus de Boskabouter television series, aired between 1967 and 1969. (1) Paulus de Boskabouter, height 33.5 cm (incl. stick) and (2) Eucalypta in nightgown, height 39 cm (incl. stick). Both handcrafted and painted by Dulieu in 1966. Ceramic heads and hands with wooden torso and fabric bodies on stick, equipped with original patented mechanical control system ('Systeem Jean Dulieu. Patent pending no. 6700203').
