Vries, Jannes de (1901-1986). Collection of ca. 35 items

Comprising: signed greeting cards, announcements and posters of exhibitions, price lists, flyers, booklets etc. in var. sizes and shapes. Originating from a correspondence with the Siebenlist family, incl. an extensive 4-page letter in pen, dated 11 Dec. 1978, discussing his health problems and his art, mentioning specific works, and a letter written on an illustrated bifolium card concerning the art of Mrs. Siebenlist and referring a booklet "Job" that accompanied this letter and is included in our lot. Also present in the lot is the original mourning card announcing the artist's death on 8 Dec. 1986.
