* Abraham de Winter (Breda, 10 March 1841 - Breda, 29 January 1920) was a Dutch entertainer who is considered one of the founders of the modern comedians and theatre comics because of his solo performances. His national breakthrough came about in 1884 when he ridiculed the cabinet and national politics. Dirk Witte was composer and lyricist of cabaret songs, performed by himself as well as countless colleagues, which are still well-known today.
