Circus Renz

Franz Renz was director. The programme includes performances by the Clarkonnions brothers, James Jee, jockeyrijderen and a quodlibet with song and dance by Messrs Lavater Lee, Eugene, G. Belling, 50 Ladies, 20 Gentlemen and 10 Children.

During that time Amsterdam knew two of this type of circus theatre: the Arenatheater and the Circustheater. The Arenatheater existed for only five years: from 1895 to 1900, on the corner of Hobbemakade and Honthorststraat.
