Extraordinary series of shop window photos, partly organised on themes such as "Pâques cadeaux", "Noël-etrennes", "St. Nicolas", "Alimentation", "Paperie-rentrée des Classes". The Belgian department store chain Sarma was founded in 1928 by Baron Jean van Gysel de Meise (1885-1956). He also founded the department store chain Nopri in 1933, part of the photos are of shop windows of that chain.
