Drawing in pen and grey and brown ink, finished with gouache and watercolour, 19.5 x 24 cm., with signature "M. de Hondekoeter" in pen bottom left, on laid paper watermarked fleur-de-lys in escutcheon.

Pasted to cardboard, bottom right corner and small tip of bottom left corner heavily affected by damp. Highly skillful drawing; (2) Anonymous (19th century). (Owl). Watercolour, 27.5 x 22 cm.
