Solerti nuper repurgitum cura MDXXI. Venice, Aldus & Andrea Socer, January 1521, text entirely in Greek, 289,(1) leaves, with woodcut printer's mark on the title and on the final page, contemporary overlapping vellum with later letterpiece.

First two leaves with reinforced margins, here and there with old annotations in pen, partly vaguely waterstained. Binding with wormholes, creases and repairs. The second Aldus edition of this anthology of Ancient-Greek and Byzantine epigrams, originally compiled by the 13th-century learned monk Maximus Planudes. The first edition appeared in 1494, the first Aldus edition in 1503.
