Photos each 19 x 16 cm. on cardboard with gilt text "Nederlandsche Fabriek van Spoorwegmaterieel Amsterdam". Inserted in file with title "Nederland in Beeld" by Fotograaf Charles Bernhoeft, published by J.M. Schalekamp, Amsterdam.

*In his heydays, Luxemburg photographer Bernhoeft employed 20 people. It is therefore possible that these photos were commissioned by his bureau. More likely, though, the photos have not been inserted in the matching file. The photos themselves create a fine and early document of the construction of the Amsterdam railways.
