Album d'Amitié, late 18th/ early 19th century

Leather bookshaped box, 10 x 17 x 2 cm., on spine: Denkmahl der Freundschaft in red and gilt stamping, boards with line border and floral motif in corners, diamondshaped coloured endpapers. The box with red decorated wrapper and 17 friendship cards, 5 of which with images and text in India ink or watercolour, 9 with text and 3 blank, several dated Rotterdam or Dordrecht, between 1797 and 1806. In very good condition.

Added a menu on thin paper of the Amstel-Hotel, le 9 Decembre 1884, folded, one quarter with illustration of this hotel + menu, remaining three quarters with advertisements.
