[Japan] Two items: (1) (Samurai versus Yokai).

Colour woodcut on crêpe paper, 14 x 32 cm., in frame (damage/ creasing).

(2) Utagawa Kuniyoshi (Japanese, 1797–1861). (Ogata Shuma Hiroyuki Jiraya kills a giant snake). Colour woodcut, 37 x 26 cm., in frame. Various defects and repairs. Possibly a failed proof, divergent in bottom left corner (e.g. no stamps in this place). Both items not examined outside frames, sold w.a.f. (total 2)
