Colour woodcut, 36.5 x 24.5 cm. (oban), with stamps for signature (Kunismasa-gwa), publisher and censor, in frame.

Restored with additions to the paper; not examined outside the frame and therefore sold w.a.f. Very rare if not extremely rare. Reverse with information in pencil: "De toneelspeler Nakamura Noshio in de rol van de held Sakuramaru uit het klassieke drama Sugawara Denjû Tenari Kagami. (...) Een ander exemplaar bevindt zich in de verzameling Theodor Scheiwe te Múnster, Duitsland. Beschreven en afgebeeld in "Japanische Holzschnitte" (Von Scheiwe) uitgave Landesmuseum fúr Kunst und Kulturgeschichte Münster. Kunimasa-prenten uiterst zeldzaam (ir. Knuttel)."
