[De Stijl] Jan den Drijver (1903-1993). Five drawings: (1) "Meubelen voor het gebruik"

Design for a flyer with central china cabinet, finished in pencil, India ink and watercolour, 15.5 x 11.3 cm., signed "Ontwerp J. den Drijver" and with business address "De Stijl Thomsonlaan 99" in pencil.

(2) Reverse of the previous with design of a meeting or dining room in pencil and watercolour. According to the RKD, the showroom and workshop of Woninginrichting De Stijl c. 1928 was located at Thomsonlaan 99 in The Hague, therefore a very early design by Den Drijver; (3) "De Stijl Meubileering". Design for advertising for a china cabinet nearly exactly as depicted in the first design, finished in India ink, 17 x 11 cm., monogrammed and with address "Den Haag, Laan van Meerdervoort 864", pasted with information on the cliché to be produced after this design on mount (browned). With information on this specific piece of furniture besides the image: "Uitvoering eikenhout lino glas. Prys f. 52,-. 10 j. gar:" Woninginrichting De Stijl was located at the aforementioned address from 1933 to 1936 (info RKD). With another 2 De Stijl design drawings attributed to Den Drijver. (total 5 drawings on 4 leaves)
