oft seven Provintien, door eenen hoogh-geleerden, der vrijer consten student inder Astronomie [= Jerassemus van Eydenborgh], wt een nacht visioen twelck hem geopenbaert is den 25. dach december des nachts ten 12. uyren anno 1604. Vercondighe van veel toecomende wonderlicke dingen die int jaer ses hondert ende vijf tot den jare ses hondert ende elf gheschieden sullen, inhoudende eclk jaer sijn revolutie. Wt de Hoochduytsche tale in onse Nederlantsche spraecke ghetrouwelijck overgheset. Emden, Frans de Vlamingh, na de Copye van Eudenborch, 1605, (8) p., with woodcut title portrait of the author, later wrapper.

Trimmed trifle short (with loss to the word "amen" on the last page, as appears from the copy at Ghent), but not as short as the digitised UVA copy; paper reinforcements in the joint. Knuttel 1287. Very rare first Dutch printing, only 2 copies in PiCarta. An edition exists which was printed at Delft in the same year, following our edition (Knuttel 1288). Not in Borchling-Claussen. *This pamphlet was not printed at Emden by accident, as many Dutch protestants had found refuge there during the beginning of the Reformation. The "voorspellingen" therefore concern the victory of the Dutch protestants and the fall of the Catholic church between the years 1605 and 1611.
