Luchtmans, and D. du Mortier, 1780, X,(4),217[= 317] p., with 15 folding engraved plates as indicated in the message to the binder, halfcalf with gilt back with morocco letterpiece, bound by "Bijbel- en Franscheband bindery" J.K. Lindhoud (Tholen) [label to inside front board].

The protruding parts of the plates with some browning and fraying, several plates folded incorrectly. The exceptional, signed binding with some wear. One copy with this exact title in PiCarta (Amsterdam). PiCarta lists several other copies, erroneously described as "Grondbeginselen" instead of "Grondbeginsels", as proved by the digitised copy. And with 1 similar other work: Jongmans onderwyzer (...) tweede deels eerste stuk door J.H. Knoop, Amsterdam, 1803, 8 folding engraved plates (according to PiCarta of this edition only a copy in Nijmegen). (total 2)
