[Mills] Groot volkomen moolenboek;

of Naauwkeurig ontwerp van allerhande tot nog toe bekende (en verscheide nieuwe, tot nu toe nooit in het ligt gebragte,) soorten van moolens, met haare gronden en opstallen, en al het geene verder daar toe behoort; (als meede de sluys op Halfwegen Haarlem en Amsterdam, met haar gronden en opstallen (...)) geteekent door Leendert van Natrus (...), Cornelis van Vuuren, en Jacob Polly (...) en zeer naauwkeurig in het kooper gebragt door Jan Punt. Amsterdam, J. Cóvens & C. Mortier, 1734/ 1736, 2 vols., (4),9; (2),8,(2) p., with 27 double-page engraved plates in vol. 1 and 22 double-page/ folding/ movable plates numbered as 27 plates (folding plates with double numbering), contemporary uniform vellum, large folio.

The title of vol. 2 is more extensive than that of vol. 1, the extension is therefore mentioned in parentheses in the title description. Contents of vol. 1 with some soiling/ staining, plate XVIII bound the wrong way around, plate XXVI with reinforced outer margin due to minor tears. Vol. 2 plate V/VI with traces of reinforcement and a thin patch in the top left corner, several plates partly with waterstaining/ foxing. Both bindings soiled/ stained, lacks the splits. In all a good copy, the book is often presented without the second volume and also often in later/ modern bindings. Bierens de Haan 3524. One of the most famous mill books, with beautiful, very precisely finished engravings in a splendid large size.
