Three various titles incl. 1 with extra plates: (1) Zydebalen, hofdicht

door Arnold Hoogvliet. Delft, Pieter van der Kloot, 1740, (4),31 p., with engraved emblematic frontispiece, engraved title vignette and an extra 3 folding plates with Sy-Baalen as subject, 19th-century halfcloth, 4to.

Ex library copy with stamp to title and labels to both sides of the front board (Bibliotheca Hageveldensis); frontispiece trimmed sl. short. Rare copy with the extra 3 folding plates, from Claas Bruin, De zegepraalende Vecht, vertoonende verscheidene gesichten van lustplaatsen, heeren huysen en dorpen; beginnende van Uitrecht en met Muyden besluytende (1719). These depict the mansion and the gardens of David van Mollem. Zijdebalen (or Sy-Baalen) was a highly successful silk factory, the estate with the same name - one of the most luxurious country mansions of the country - was situated near the Weerdpoort at Utrecht. And with 2 more on the Verheerlykt Leeuwendaal and "Renovatie en Ampliatie van de Keure, verbiedende de voet- of zandpaden in Delfland te beryden met wagens, paarden en ander vee" (placard, 1806).
