[Tacitus] Two works: (1) C. Cornelii Taciti Opera quae exstant

(...) Ex recensione & cum notis Jacobi Gronovii. Trajecti Batavorum (Utrecht), apud Jacobum à Poolsum et Joannem Visch, 1721. (32),756 pp., engraved frontispiece by J. Goeree, title in red and black with allegorical vignette, several tailpieces, vellum, blindstamped boards, ribbed back with title in ink, 4to. Binding with light traces of use, title and a few pp. at the front tanned, at the end trifle foxed. Good copy; (2) C. Cornelii Taciti Operum tomus secundus. In quo libri quinque historiarum, de moribus Germanorum, vita Julii Agricolae, et auctoris incerti dalogus de oratoribus. The same, 1721. 578 pp. + index, title in red and black with vignette, vellum, blindstamped boards, ribbed back with title in ink, 4to. Vellum on boards sl. rubbed, label to blank endpaper, title and first pp. with small water stain, title sl. tanned, else good.
