Strick, 1698, letterpress index leaf (2 p.) with address of the publishers, with splendidly handcoloured, engraved title and 28 double-page engraved maps in the same fine handcolouring, modern gilt halfleather in old style, folio, in cloth dropback box with morocco letterpiece.

Last map sl. tanned along middle fold and lacking upper corner. Else a very carefully restored copy with minor defects, with stamped bookplate of Dr D. Williams's Library Red Cross Street London. This library was founded in 1729 with funds from the inheritance of Daniel Williams (1643–1716). This title appears in Bibliothecae quam vir doctus, Daniel Williams (...) bono publico legavit, catalogue, 1801, p. 35, and in the Catalogue of the Library in Red Cross Street (...) Founded Pursuant to the Will of the Reverend Daniel Williams, 1841, on p. 271.
