Jeremy Adler (1947-)

Group of works from the British visual poet and lecturer Jeremy Adler. Derived from the collection of Claus Bock (1926-2008), who was Adler's professor at Westfield College in London. Contains 6 original Electric Alphabet prints with additions in ink and colour pencil. 36 x 25.5 cm. All signed in pencil. Included are: ABCDE (signed to Claus IX 74. Heavy soiling around edges), EFGH, JK, KL, M and MN (with small spot). + Several typewriter poems by Adler. Includes two signed works from 1972.

+ Three copies of The envelope magazine of visual poetry, published by Poetry Workshop London. Includes: A (1971/1972), Ab (1973) and ABCD (1977). Contributions of Cobbing, Finch, Mayer, DSH, Gibbs, Adler and others. Adler edited the 1977 issue. + Towards the City. Fragments I-VII by Adler with stunning visual poems by Cobbing. London, WF, 1977. + Seven more visual poetry magazines including Kroklow 3, WF 100 and Poetry Review 1977. + Several small booklets, xeroxed texts and cards by the artist.
