8 x 10 Art Portfolio

An artists' assembling magazine created by Jeanie Black and Fluxus artist Ely Raman. Nine issues were made sporadically between 1970-1972 in an unknown edition. Those interested were invited to pay whatever they wished for the publication. This green folder (30 x 23 cm) houses a collection of 41 sheets.

A contents page lists the contributing artists, among them Monte Cazazza, David Mayor, Davi Det Hompson Richard Kostalenetz, Klaus Groh, Pat Tavenner, Al Hansen (signed work), Ken Friedman and Clemente Padin. Works on various types and colours of paper, ranging from original pencil drawings, b/w pictures, collages to silkscreen prints. Also added is a request to send material for the next issue before October 1 1972, which suggest 1972 as a probable publication date for this issue (no records were kept). Green cover slightly soiled, yet artworks mint. Beautiful item.
