Extremely rare first edition of one of the earliest folio picturebooks published by Bom, with poems by Schenkman. Earlier edition of the 1864 edition: the publisher's catalogue (presented on both endpapers) mentions Lotgevallen van Margaretha en hare pop Mina, which according to Buijnsters was acquired by Bom in 1859.
