Reinier Nooms called Zeeman (c. 1624-1664). Two etchings: (1) (Large ship and

a rowing boat). Etching from a series of 13 scenes with ships, 19 x 29.5 cm, with the address "Carolus Allard Excudit Amstelodami" in upper right corner, signed and with address " Ar. Tooker Excud. Londini" in upper left corner.

Lacks a small portion of blank lower left corner; vertical folds; numbered 6 in pen in lower blank margin and a few smaller defects. Fine impression on paper with watermark coat of arms of Amsterdam verso. New Hollstein 116, 6th state (of 7). New Hollstein 123, 6th state (of 7); (2) (Three flute ships being caulked). Etching from the series of 13 Naval harbours with shipbuilding, 18.7 x 29.5 cm, with the address "Carolus Allard Excudit Amstelodami" and nummered illegible in upper right corner. Light yellow stain in upper right corner; vertical folds; numbered 5 in pen in lower blank margin; corners w. traces of former mounting (sl. thin). A good impression on paper with watermark coat of arms of Amsterdam. New Hollstein 123, 6th state (of 7). Both etchings with the collector's stamp of Verchraegen frères (Lugt 2513) verso. (total 2)
