(ca. 1830), w. lithogr. title and 12 (partly misnumbered) plates and a loosely inserted extra plate, all with handcoloured details (mostly with use of gold/ silver, bound in contemp. giltlettered halfleather, large folio. (53.5 x 39 cm).

Title (frontwr.?) w. vague folds and offsetting from turn-ins; the other plates waterst. in blank outer margin and occ. sm. other stains; one plate loosening. Joints split, outer corners bumped and covers rubbed. Acceptable copy for such a large volume, with owner's entry of Ernst L. Schlegel on first free endpaper. The 12 plates with the blindstamp of the publisher in lower margin. Rare. There also exists an Italian edition, dated 1835, incorporating a frontispiece portrait of Napoleon on horseback.
