[Numismatics] Silver tetradrachm of Alexander the Great (ca. 325–319 BC)

Ø 2.5 cm, obverse w. a youthful bust of Herakles facing right, with headdress of a lion’s pelt, surrounded by border dots, reverse showing the seated figure of Zeus sitting on a throne facing left, holding a staff in his left hand and w. eagle perching on his outstretched right hand and Greek text meaning "of King Alexander", also with the mark of the mint in the shape of a capital M (not traced, but probably Babylon, struck after the death of Alexander).

In very fine condition.
