Fine copy from the library of Bob Luza, with his circular bookplate on upper pastedown. His exquisite library was sold at auction in Amsterdam by Van Gendt, December 1981, this work was one of the last lots in the auction catalogue, number 1108, estimated at 150 guilders. The work was originally published in 1663-1664; (2) The true interest and political Maxims of the Republick of Holland and West-Friesland. In Three parts. Written by John de Witt and other great men in Holland. London, 1702, LVI,492, contemp. blindst. leather. Poor copy, partly waterst. and browned, rebacked, therefore sold w.a.f. (total 2).
