various bindings, all small 8vo.

Includes 6 plays published by Izaak Duim, Amsterdam, 1741-1767, of which 4 with a beehive depicted on the title-vignette and 3 with nicely engr. frontisp. Comprises a.o.: (1) De gelukte list, óf bedrooge mof. Blyspel. De tweede druk (...). Amst., "Gedrukt voor het Kunstgenootschap [Nil Voléntibus Arduum], én te bekomen by de Erven van J. Lescaille enz.", 1702, (12),67 pp., with engr. frontisp by Romeyn de Hooghe and engr. title-illustration by Gerard de Lairesse with the motto, later wr. Sl. foxed. Very good, untrimmed copy, warranted in pen (probably by Ysbrant Vincent). See Wikipedia for an extensive article on this nice society. (2) M.G. Tengnagels Klucht van Frik in 't Veurhuys. Amst., J. Winkel, 1731, 48 pp., 19th cent. halfvellum w. mor. letterpiece on spine, sm. 8vo. From the library of Victor de la Montagne, with his bookplate on upper pastedown; (3) De gehoornde broeders ofte vrouwelyk bedrog. Klugtspel. (By Jacob Campo Weyerman). "t'Abdera", n.publ., n.d. (ca. 1705), (6),66 p., modern halfvellum, sm. 8vo. Occ. cut short at fore-edge. With bookplate of H.W.J. van Ameron on upper pastedown. Abdera is an anagram of the author's home town Breda, presumably the play was published there: (4) Othello, of de Moor van Venetien; Treurspel in vijf bedrijven, gevolgd naar het Fransch van Ducis. Groningen, H. Eekhoff, 1802, (6),109,(1) p., nicely bound in contemp. full gilt green mor., a.e.g., sm. 8vo. (total 13)
