Partly waterst.; neatly recased and rebacked w. use of the original backstrip. From the library of Émile Grisar (Antwerp), with his owner's stamp on first free endpaper. Above the stamp an older owner's entry "Lacoste Rossignol" in pen. Charles Coypeau (1605–1677), French musician and burlesque poet who chose his nom de plume D'Assouci or Dassoucy around 1635. Very rare original edition of this work in which the author describes in jolly verse and prose his bizarre adventures and misfortunes during his travels, for instance his imprisonments for crimes commited in Montpellier, Rome et Paris.
