Ruys in Amsterdam for J. Allart in The Hague, 1812, XVIII,192,(10)pp., w. engr. frontisp. by and after R. Vinkeles and 6 plates by Vinkeles after M.J. van Bree, contemp. blue boards w. remnants of paper letterpiece on spine, large 8vo. Pagination skipping 157-164 and quires skipping K7-8 and L1-2, but the text complete and exactly as in the 2nd edition (a copy also present in this lot). Binding a few rubbed/ worn spots. A good, untrimmed copy, with contemp. owner's entry in pen on first free endpaper: "Philippina Henrietta Siedenburg geboren Druman" (1748-1823, born in Diepenveen and died in Edam). And 5 others, incl.a copy of the 2nd ed. of De Hollandsche Natie. (total 8)
