Album composed by one of the members of the battalion. During the mission, 24 members were killed; a few photos are in commemoration of these members, w. typescript annotations. Incl. a.o.: group photogr. of the soldiers; troops in tanks, trucks and jeeps; a few photos of ruined buildings; a heavily wounded boy; a mother holding her (dead?) child; aeroplanes; the sinking ship "Klipfontein"; landscapes; and the wedding ceremony of the composer.
