[Prints] Lot with 10 (large) portraits and two other prints,

incl.: Charles Howard Hodges (1764-1837). Series of 4 mezzotint portraits, of Daendels, Pichegru, Willem Frederik and De Winter, each ca. 30 x 25 cm., 1895-1997 (Willem Frederik without address or date).

Slightly tanned or with light foxing, still a fine quartet of large portraits. Pichegru with the collector's mark of the Royal Library, Windsor Castle (Lugt 2535). With another 3 by Hodges: 2 large mezzotints and a very large stipple-engraved portrait of the actress Ziesenis née Wattier (74 x 53,5 cm., doubled with thin paper) [see also lot 450] and with another 5 portraits, incl. a mezzotint portrait of William Frederick George Louis by I. Reynolds (1814) (total 12 prints).
