Title page volume 3 with neatly repaired tear; here and there partly stained; volume 2 lacks the title shield on spine, corners of boards (also at spine ends) with some wear. First Dutch edition, a translation of "Conseils à ma fille", published that same year. In 1832 a second Dutch edition appeared.
