With unidentified stamped ex libris on reverse of the first plate. The very rare first edition of this lovely artist's manual, which highlights several drawing styles with the help of various print techniques. Among the plates is a series of 3 views of the same farm: only in lines (etching), tinted (aquatint) and in colour (colour aquatint). With added a copy of the Amsterdam edition, J.C. van Kesteren, 1837, with one folding aquatint plate, original printed limp cardboard (front board loose) (total 2).
