Spine hollow and most of paper lacking, yet a good, uncut copy, possibly entirely as published. The first edition of this lovely city guide also appeared at Marshoorn, in 1736. With bound in the same manner: (2) Le Guide ou nouvelle Description d'Amsterdam, enseignant aux voyageurs et aux negoçians (...). Le Tarif des Droits d'Entrée & de Sortie (...). Nouvelle Edition augmentée considerablement. Amsterdam, P. de la Feuille, 1722/ 1718, 2 parts in one volume [Tarif général with separate title page, 1718], (4),198;123,(2) p., with 20 folding engraved views and 4 double-sided printed, engraved plates with flags, small 8vo (old owner's names on (tanned) title, underlinings in pen, else same defects as the former and also an uncut copy). The fifth edition of this lovely city guide, published for the first time in 1701. And with another 4 diverse other works concerning Amsterdam, incl. (3) Brandkeure der Stad Amsterdam (Amsterdam, 1831, with engraving of a fire hose, front board loose) and (4) Spaarbank voor de Stad Amsterdam 1848-1873 (1873) (total 6).
