The Hague, C. van Lom, 1726-1727, 3 volumes, (10),569,(2); (2),370,(1); (2),385,(1) p., with engraved title vignettes, portrait of the author, portrait above the dedication, various vignettes in the text and 64 engraved views and plates (all but a few double-page and folding, one view printed on two plates), contemporary (or later expert production in old style, the endpapers are 19th-century) uniform marbled and polished calf, spines with raised and bands and gilt and with 2 contrasting morocco title shields, folio.
All volumes here and there slightly thumbed and with library stamp on title removed by scratching; penultimate plate in volume 1 lacks a small strip on the right side, second plate in volume 3 with light damage/ tears (repaired) and pages 9-12 in that volume bound behind p. 16; several other plates with (repaired) tears (on folds) or cut slightly short; bindings with light wear. In all a good and finely bound copy with all plates as listed in the binder's indices. The second edition (1st: 1656-1666) of Sanderus's monumental work on the most important devotional buildings in Flanders.
