Stunning standing poem card by Ian Hamilton Finlay. n.d. (1965). Printed dark brown and blue on yellow/beige stock. 25 x 25 cm. Folded on both sides allowing the card to stand. The images depict an apple (or other fruit?) which metamorphoses into a heart, complimented with the emerging word LOVE. A similar card is 'Standing Poem 2 (Apple/Heart)' from 1965. In mint condition.

The fifth publication by Finlay's Press and part of his introduction of South American concrete poets to the English speaking world. Browning especially on front and back page, yet a special item.
