Eugene, prince of Savoy (1668-1736). Signed letter,

in German, addressed to the assembly of counsellors and ambassadors at Frankfurt, dated Mühlberg, 23 November 1713, on the front of a bifolium, 32 x 20 cm., with address and finely preserved wax seal on the final page (folded for shipment).

On Eugene, prince of Savoy see also lot 735 and https://tinyurl.com/njbem9g. The prince mentions in this letter his regret at not having been more successful, but he is glad to end the campaign soon (however, peace would only be concluded at Rastadt on 7 March 1714).
