Wolfgang Schmidt

Two artists' books by German printmaker Wolfgang Schmidt (1929 - 1995). Includes Vielfarbengedicht published by Typos Verlag, Frankfurt, 1962. Printed in an edition of 200 copies, numbered and signed in pencil by Schmidt. This is number 164. Contains 30 colour plates and interleaving sheets of transparent paper, each printed with concrete poetry. Beautiful print experiments in colour monochromy. Wrappers slightly browned, inside very good.
