Drawing in black and coloured chalk, 24.5 x 31 cm., signed and dated 1743 top right, in mount.

Browned and with vague slanted fold; lacks corner top left. On paper with partial watermark in the shape of a crown. The subject was the trademark of Jacob de Wit, many (mostly undated) examples are known.
