Desiderio Erasmo Roterodamo Interprete. Antwerp, I. Steelsius, 1542, 276 leaves, with woodcut printer's mark at the end, bound in contemporary blindstamped calf across wooden boards (with roll stamps containing Isaiah and Jeremiah etc.), with medieval manuscript leaf to inside front board, old title in pen to fore edge, with attachment points of two clamps on both boards.

Old owner's marks on the title page (the earliest slightly scratched). Rebacked with most of the old backstrip pasted to the spine and rebound with new endpapers at the end, lacks clamps.
