all with handwritten, mainly English-language contributions, c. 1850-1920, various (mainly small) sizes and bindings.
Incl.: (1) A 4to-sized album with 11 autograph dedications dated 1905 by famous British actors such as Gerald du Maurier (1873-1934), Herbert Beerbohm (1852-1917), Lewis Waller (1860-1915), Norman McKinnel (1870-1932), Henry Ainley (1879-1945), Eleanor Robson (1879-1979) and Annie Hughes (1869-1954). This album also contains 16 drawn contributions, including a beautiful watercolour of R.M.S. Isis, monogrammed "H.B.O." and dated "'05" (12.5 x 18 cm) and several watercolours by Amy Mendelssohn (1905). Covers of the album in poor condition; (2) An 8vo-sized giltlettered album "places visited", with daily inscribed details of a journey on the S.S. Kroonland from Antwerp via Brussels, Cologne, Frankfurt a. Main, Berlin, Berchtesgaden, Interlaken and Paris back to Antwerp again, undertaken 28 June to 6 September 1902 (bound in contemporary supple chagreen wallet-binding); (3) A oblong 8vo-sized album amicorum with handwritten contributions by Tom Elder Barr Smith (1863-1941), Henry Edward James Bevan (1854-1935) and others as well as several drawings (1901-1905, disbound).
