Vol. 1 occas. waterst., mainly at the begiining. Generally, a few plates loose(ning) or sl. frayed, some fingersoiling or other stains, a few small tears. Both vols. lack mor. letterpiece, have bumped/ worn corners and chipped spine ends, covers sl. scratched/ stained. Still a good copy of the second edition.
