Album with 14 leafs, each with 8 inserted photos, ca. 1890, mostly views of Dutch cities but also several famous Dutchs art works and traditional dress, each 10.5 x 6.5 cm. (carte-de-visite size), with title in pen on the album leafs, the album bound in red morocco with gilt lettered title "Hollande" and "1879 II" on spine and initials "M.L.C." on front cover, edges gilt, large 4to.

Views of Rotterdam (12), The Hague (16), Haarlem (12), Amsterdam (28) and Groningen (8) and 8 hand-coloured traditional dresses of Friesland, Scheveningen, Urk, Zaandam and Zeeland. Most photos with address of A. Jager, Amsterdam (Andries Jager, 1825-1905). The binding (with small defects) is signed (difficult to read) on the bottom of the backstrip.
