Folio, contemp. boards. Mounted profusely decorated title and 89 pages with over 700 scraps, including lithographs of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Arnhem, The Hague, an early engraving of Artis, a series of coloured engravings of Punch & Judy, a publisher's subscription form for Goeverneur's De Sprookjesverteller etc. Engravings mostly of English or Dutch origin. Some traces of use, spine partly loose from binding.
The girl who owned the scrapbook was a Van Gogh, related to the famous painter Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890).
