Paris, printed by Imprimerie de Fain for the author/ Carilian-Goeury, 1832 (with the names of another 10 booksellers on verso of title), (4),104 p., with engraved frontispiece ("Théorie et pratique") and 48 (fold.) plates, the sixth part ("Des cinq ordres d'architecture") with its own engr. frontispiece, contemp boards w. gilt-lettered spine, oblong narrow 4to (16 x 24 cm).

Fold. plates w. tears; sl. foxed/ browned throughout (mostly along edges). Lacks first free endpaper; paper over spine dam. and outer corners worn. Acceptable copy, with old blind stamp of "Debray Architecte Vérificateur" (Paris) in the title p., and with loosely inserted presentation card with text "De la part et avec les compliments de Jacques Chirac, mère de Paris". A very rare artist's manual in first edition. PiCarta lists only a single copy of the second edition, published in 1846.
